On the occasion of the 17th Manises International Ceramics Biennial, the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània (CCCC) is joining the programme with a special event featuring artists Carmen Calvo and Miquel Navarro, who will share firsthand their experiences as pioneers in the use of ceramics as a driving force behind their creative processes.
Moderated by José Luis Clemente, Professor of Art History at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universitat Politècnica de València, the conversation will explore the distinguished careers of both artists, from their earliest experiences with clay to their major contribution to the art of recent decades.
